From first conversation to closeout
A plan you can follow.
Each project has its own conditions and decisions. These six steps explain how we develop the scope, coordinate the work, and keep changes clear.

Start with your goals
Share your project location, ideas, photos, timeline, and preliminary budget expectations. We discuss whether Prestige is a good fit before investing significant time in design and estimating.

Review the site
For suitable projects, we evaluate visible conditions, access, existing structures, drainage, and exposure. Concealed or unknown conditions are identified so the scope reflects what we can responsibly establish.

Choose the right approach
We compare materials and systems against your goals, budget, maintenance expectations, and the site. Manufacturer requirements and the condition of the existing home help guide those decisions.

Put the scope in writing
Your proposal and construction agreement identify included work, exclusions, allowances, owner responsibilities, payments, and project-specific warranty terms. Necessary design, engineering, or investigative work is handled as a defined preconstruction service.

Coordinate construction
When included in the contracted scope, we coordinate permits and inspections. Specialized electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and engineering work involves appropriately qualified trades or professionals. Procurement and scheduling follow the approved scope and jurisdictional requirements.

Document changes & close out
Scope changes and newly discovered conditions are documented. At closeout, we review remaining items, required inspections, care information, and applicable product and workmanship warranty documents.

Washington contractor registration
Prestige Home Services operates under Washington contractor registration:
Use Washington L&I’s Verify tool to confirm current registration, bond, and insurance records directly with the state. A current certificate of insurance can be provided for projects when requested.
Materials selected for your home
Prestige has experience furnishing or installing products from Wolf Home Products, Eva-Last, MoistureShield, RDI, James Hardie, and other established manufacturers. Recommendations reflect the project’s needs and site conditions.
Installation instructions, fastening schedules, clearances, and warranty provisions matter. Any certification, endorsement, or warranty benefit must be current and applicable to the specific product and project.

Our office and warehouse at 980 Fountain Street support material coordination, samples, equipment, and project operations. Please schedule consultations and facility visits in advance.
Warranties & aftercare
Understand your coverage.
Workmanship and product warranties cover different things. Your project documents explain the coverage that applies to your work.
Our workmanship warranty
Unless a project’s written contract expressly provides different coverage, Prestige provides a limited one-year workmanship warranty beginning on the date of substantial completion. The warranty covers defects caused directly by Prestige Home LLC’s workmanship within the contracted scope and is subject to written notice, inspection, an opportunity to correct covered work and payment in full.
Manufacturer warranties
Products and materials may carry separate manufacturer warranties controlled exclusively by the manufacturer’s written terms. Review the complete Prestige Home LLC Warranty Information for exclusions, notice requirements and controlling-document language.
Your project documents control. This page provides general information and does not create, enlarge, or modify a warranty. The signed construction contract, approved change orders, manufacturer warranty documents, and applicable law control if they differ from this page.
