Founder and President, Prestige Home Services

Ryan Imus leads Prestige Home Services from the company’s Burlington, Washington office and warehouse. He is responsible for determining whether a project is a good fit, developing the initial scope, evaluating practical construction options, coordinating estimates and helping homeowners understand the decisions that affect durability, appearance and long-term value.

Residential Construction Leadership

Prestige works across two connected specialties: premium decks and outdoor living, and substantial residential remodeling. Ryan’s role is to keep those disciplines connected. A deck may involve structural evaluation, ledger and waterproofing details, stairs, guard systems, finish materials, site access and permits. A remodel may involve the same need for careful sequencing across demolition, framing, exterior assemblies, windows, doors, finish carpentry and specialty trades.

Ryan works with the Prestige field team and qualified trade partners to translate a homeowner’s goals into a buildable scope. His involvement commonly includes project qualification, preliminary budgeting, material and product evaluation, scope writing, change-order review, construction coordination and final quality review.

How Ryan Approaches Technical Content

Technical articles attributed to Ryan are intended to explain how Prestige evaluates and builds real projects. They draw from field conditions, estimating decisions, product requirements, manufacturer instructions and the practical tradeoffs homeowners face. Articles are educational rather than a substitute for project-specific engineering, code review or an on-site assessment.

When an article discusses structure, waterproofing, fastening, materials or permitting, readers should expect the recommendations to be tied to a defined situation—not presented as one universal answer. Existing conditions, jurisdictional requirements, manufacturer instructions and engineering can change the correct approach.

Professional Accountability

Prestige Home Services operates under Washington contractor registration PRESTHS776JR. Homeowners can independently confirm the current registration, bond and insurance information through the Washington Department of Labor & Industries Verify tool.

Prestige’s written proposal and construction agreement define the actual scope, allowances, exclusions, payment terms and warranty coverage for each project. Product-specific warranties remain subject to the applicable manufacturer’s current written terms.

Serving Northwest Washington

Prestige is based at 980 Fountain Street in Burlington and serves qualified projects throughout Skagit County, Island County, Whatcom County and northern Snohomish County. Select travel projects—including island and coastal work—are considered when the scope and logistics are a strong fit.
