Ryan Imus
Family roots. A builder’s perspective.
Ryan is a husband, father, and the founder of Prestige Home Services. Part of a family with deep roots in construction, he brings that background to helping Northwest Washington homeowners plan and build spaces that work for their lives.
The Imus family
Construction runs in the family.
Ryan’s family connection to the trades reaches back through his great-grandfather Teddy Imus, his grandfather Richard Imus, and his father Richard S. Imus. His uncles Gregg and Robert, and his cousin Rebekah, are also part of a family whose work extends across construction, building products, and specialty flooring.
Prestige continues that connection in Northwest Washington. Ryan leads the company from Burlington, helping homeowners make practical decisions about their homes and bringing together the people, materials, and planning each project needs.

From building to innovation
A family connected to the craft.
The family’s work spans the hands-on trades and the products that help other builders do their work.
Richard S. Imus
Ryan’s father · DURASKIRT™
Richard’s career includes carpentry, construction supervision, concrete formwork, and terrazzo. He entered the manufactured-home industry in 1990 and developed the concrete skirting concept behind DURASKIRT. His published biography describes terrazzo work at Mid-Columbia Hospital in The Dalles, Oregon, and the performing arts center at Centralia Community College in Washington.
Gregg Imus
Ryan’s uncle · Building & product invention
Gregg’s experience building custom homes and replacing deteriorated decks led to Imus Cap, a product designed to protect the tops of deck joists and beams from moisture. Professional Deck Builder featured the invention in 2017. The patent record names William Gregg Imus as the inventor of a beam-cap design granted in 2015.

Ryan’s uncle and cousin · Specialty flooring
Robert’s professional background includes Marbella Floors and Rebekah & Company. Ryan’s cousin Rebekah Imus Brintz is the CEO and owner of Rebekah & Company, a terrazzo flooring business in Corona, California. Their work adds another specialty to the family’s construction history: the craft of creating durable, custom finished surfaces.
In 2016, project collaborator Surface Gel Tek documented Rebekah & Company’s installation work on concrete floor graphics at Edmunds’ California headquarters.
